The Egbert Switching Station, currently in a pre-construction phase, is one component of a considerable investment towards increasing the reliability and resilience of the electrical infrastructure serving the Bay Area of California.
During this process, Urb-in worked to create the design brief, request for proposal (RFP) and select the design team, Throughout the design process, urb-in worked closely with the Jensen design team to shepherd the project through the design process.
Urb-in worked closely with several lines of business within PG&E, including; Electric Transmission and Distribution, Land, Public Affairs, Sourcing, and a team of external consultants to site and plan this piece of critical infrastructure.
